We have been in the corporate
apparel business
since 1995 as retail embroiderers. First,
under
the name Azalea Embroidery in Louisiana, then,
in June 2002, we formed Highland Apparel Company
when we re-located to the beautiful mountains of Virginia.
Over the years, many customers would bring in
"bargain" shirts
and items that they bought on
Internet auctions or outlet malls for stitching so we saw
the need for a wholesale web site that would sell
first-quality corporate apparel instead of seconds or close-outs.
By negotiating pricing, and shipping terms with our distributors,
we are now able to offer the same items that we have been
selling for years at 35% - 45% below their normal retail pricing.
We want to offer our customers the best prices for what we feel are
some of the best corporate casual wear available in the United States.
We think that we have done that with our site.
